.... Sadly, there is no real interesting news to report!

School has started, so I'm easing back into the old grind. Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver came out in Japan Recently, and I'm appropriatly excited. In order to help fight my longing for the US release of the game, I'm delving back into Platinum to undertake a very rewarding task: IV Breed and EV train new versions of the pokemon team that helped me dominate Pearl. The team itself consists entirely of female Pokemon,

Dante the Charizard
Panzer the Flygon
Lucia the Milotic
Ichigo the Scizor
Demeter the Leafeon
Mizore the Froslass

Luckily, I've already got a head start on this project. During my first month of Platinum, a friend of mine traded me an egg that had been IV bred, which hatched into a very well balanced Eevee [He had hatched the egg beforehand to check out the IV's over at the Battle Tower, and then reset to trade it over]. I've since raised that Eevee into a new Demeter, who is not only statistically superior to the original, but also in possession of a much more aggressive moveset [Original Demeters Moves were Leaf Blade, Iron Tail, Synthesis, and Sunny day. New Demeter's moves are Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Ariel Ace, and Sunny Day] My next breeding project was the new Panzer, who I've managed to pick out a worthy candidate for training, but have so far left alone. Instead I went to breeding a new Mizore, and by a freak chance of luck, I managed to end up bestowing IV's of 31 in all her stats minus HP. Needless to say, I'm EXTREMELY pleased with her.

That just leaves three pokemon left. Lucia is the next one, probably the easiest of the three. All I really need to do with her is breed and create a male Corsola with a few 31 IV's that can pass on Mirror Coat to the new Lucia.

Ichigo's the second toughest, after Dante. Not only do I need to ensure decent IV placement, but I also need to ensure that she ends up becoming both a female as well as possessing the Technician ability.

Dante.... oooh, she's going to be the most difficult, based purely on her gender. Since Charmanders only have a 12% chance of being female, my chances of getting both one with good IV's and the right gender is slim, to say the least.
